![]() Nevermind that it will also be challenging to far too many terrible random players who are worse than even the new AI bots.īut what really kills random for me is the terrible players and the static long range gameplay at high tiers. But to each his own, I see many coop players are disabled or disordered, and I guess then it might be challenging (or might have been with the old AI, the new one even my cat could beat). I really don't mind toxicity (I go toxic myself when faced with extreme stupidity on my team) and I do find serious coop players a bit naive because it most certainly is not serious, it is just a race to damage or whatever else you need for your missions. Mostly because the terrible players on my team don't destroy my gaming experience like in randoms (2 man divs can carry scenarios like 80% of the time, coop can be carried by one player easily). Now I play mostly Scenarios (and Coop for Missions). I used to play randoms and was not terrible, but the fun from that has more or less completely drained. There are also some toxic and unneccessary salty guys in COOP, but a.) that's rare and b.) only on one side A few good games a day are quite sufficient. It fulfils my aspirations to this game, I concentrate on developing new ships lines as the ressources are available and sink a few bots daily. Later, as complaints about behaviour in Randoms grew in the forums I decided to carry on on PvE only. Needless to say, I am not a very good player - and thus I concluded to stay in COOP to improve. Insults, needless complaints, threats, glee and so on. This would take a while and I accepted that.īy accident (clicking on the wrong symbol) I entered Random from time to time and found the "atmosphere" there unsavory. So I decided to stay in COOP until I had some decent ships and appropriate Captains and then change to PvP. I found COOP - when I started 5 years ago - quite challenging (the bot AI was better than actual) and it fulfilled my expectations. It is a question that cannot be answered by a simple and short sentence.Īt first You are limited to COOP until You have developed a few ships. ![]()
